Terms and Conditions
This contract is a 12 week minimum contract that will automatically rollover into your next 12 week contract. Minimum of One (1) weeks’ notice must be given for cancellation of a membership and your membership will be then be cancelled upon completion of the current 12 week block. A cancellation must be made in writing via email or in person.
For any pre booked and paid consultations, the following clauses will apply: Any fees shall be payable whether or not I complete my sessions. The trainer is required to offer me a “make up” session, in the event of cancellation where 24 hours’ notice has been supplied. This session must be made up within the time frame of my contract. If the trainer is not available to perform the make-up session, another trainer will be allocated to me. Should I miss a pre-booked session without 24 hours prior notice, or give less than 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation, the session will be forfeited and full payment is required.
All direct debits shall be payable whether or not I use Elements of Strength’s facilities and/or complete the proposed program.
Membership will not be credited for periods of non-attendance where the membership has NOT been put on hold.
All private training sessions/bonus add ons and group exercise sessions MUST be used within the allocated membership period. If the sessions are not used, they will be forfeited.
Elements of Strength does not honour any verbal agreements made by the studio or over the phone that are contrary to these membership terms. All memberships placed on hold must be done so in writing or via email.
Elements of Strength shall be entitled to increase its fees by 5% annually. I authorise Elements of Strength to vary the amount of the periodic withdrawal accordingly. Elements of Strength agrees to notify me of any increase within 30 days before the first increase payment is due and allow me to discontinue my membership if desired.
Debits may be put “on hold” for a maximum of 4 weeks per year after the initial membership of 3 months. The debits will automatically restart after the requested hold period has elapsed. Unless otherwise requested due to medical, with doctor’s certificate.
The debits will then continue on the 12 week rotational contract.
Minimum age: Membership is limited to persons who are at least 15 years of age (unless medical/parental clearance is given).
Elements of Strength will be closed on Sundays & Public Holidays, and Between Christmas and New Year unless otherwise arranged with your Personal Trainer or a Pop Up Open Gym is adevrtised. No Hold’s/suspensions to memberships payments permitted over this period.
